"Without the alumni scholarship, I would have stayed home. Today I'm studying medicine because someone I'd never met believed in me."

We are the alumni of Kapchebon FYM Primary and Junior Secondary School — united by memory, driven by purpose. Together, we give back to the school that shaped us and the students who follow.

"Education is the most powerful weapon."
As a registered non-profit, we channel the goodwill of our alumni community into tangible impact — funding tuition for bright but needy students, equipping classrooms, and mentoring tomorrow's leaders.

Every shilling you contribute goes directly to a student's school fees, books, or meals. Be the alumni who showed up.
"Without the alumni scholarship, I would have stayed home. Today I'm studying medicine because someone I'd never met believed in me."
"Coming back to mentor at Kapchebon is the most rewarding thing I do. These young people remind me why our community matters."
"The new library books and the visit from alumni inspired me to dream bigger. I want to be an engineer."

In a moving handover ceremony, the alumni delivered a fleet of desktop computers, monitors and keyboards to equip Kapchebon's first dedicated ICT lab — opening the door for every learner to touch, code, and create.
For years, Kapchebon FYM had no real entrance — just rusted iron sheets and weathered timber held together by hope. In 2025, alumni pooled their own resources to build a modern, secure school gate. This is what your contribution makes possible.

"If we could transform the gate, imagine what we can do with the classrooms, the library, and the dormitories."
Kapchebon FYM Alumni Association is more than a school network — we are a community-based organisation committed to the blue economy, carbon-credit stewardship, and clean water for the people of Mt. Elgon.
This year alone, our alumni and volunteers planted over 2,000 indigenous and fruit trees across Kapchebon — restoring forest cover, protecting water catchments, and earning the community a stake in carbon credits.
We collect plastic bottles and bags from rivers, springs and roadsides — keeping Mt. Elgon's water catchments clean so the lakes and seas downstream stay alive in their natural state.
We are raising funds to drill and build a permanent borehole that will serve Kapchebon Health Centre — enabling a new maternity ward for women and ending the daily struggle for clean water in our community.
Despite sitting on one of Kenya's richest water-catchment areas, our community still walks miles for clean water. Help us change that — permanently.
Real moments from Kapchebon — the new perimeter wall and main gate, proudly funded by our alumni community, and the harvesting-day gathering that brought us home.

"Funded by Alumni — 2024." Every wall raised, every gate hung, every harvest shared — paid forward by graduates like you.
